The Civil Engineer ARE supports the Resident Engineer in managing day-to-day project operations, ensuring that construction activities are executed in accordance with contract requirements. This role contributes directly to project quality, safety, and timely delivery across large-scale infrastructure developments.Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Resident Engineer and act as deputy when required
  • Supervise contractor works to ensure compliance with contract documents and project specifications
  • Participate in contract administration and review contractor submissions
  • Provide on-site direction and issue technical instructions to contractors
  • Supervise site inspection staff and coordinate daily site activities
  • Verify measurements of completed work and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor material quality and workmanship standards on site
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety practices and procedures
  • Track project progress and compare against planned schedules
  • Prepare detailed progress reports for management
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of as-built documentation
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure and construction supervision
  • At least 10 years of experience in Dubai projects with 5 years in similar role
  • Strong knowledge of road and infrastructure project supervision
  • Good understanding of contractual processes and relationships
  • Proficiency in engineering and construction software tools
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English
