- Review and approve contractor materials and construction methods as delegated by the Resident Engineer
- Maintain daily records including material engineer reports and site activity logs
- Oversee contractor activities ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards
- Conduct inspections at supplier plants and manufacturing facilities when required
- Follow up on material testing, approvals, and authority clearances
- Review contractor testing requests and validate submitted reports
- Monitor material delivery performance and ensure accuracy of materials used on site
- Coordinate with contractor teams regarding schedules, sequencing, and execution methods
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and approved construction schedules
- Perform continuous site inspections and coordinate with project stakeholders
- Prepare detailed reports on contractual, technical, and procedural matters
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Dubai infrastructure standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience in quality inspections and ISO9000 systems
- Familiarity with material testing, approvals, and compliance procedures
- Must hold Dubai Central Laboratory approval
- Strong coordination, reporting, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment with multiple stakeholders
