The Strategy Planning Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing frameworks, processes, and tools that enable the department to measure and monitor its progress toward short- and long-term objectives (related to strategy and performance).
The Strategy Specialist is also responsible for developing the key performance indicators (KPIs) necessary to translate core objectives into a rigorous delivery strategy.Responsibilities:
Assist in the development, preparation, and review of strategies, and plans, ensuring a robust Strategy framework is in place.
Assist in maintaining plans of Strategic Initiatives which will contribute towards the implementation of strategies.
Contribute to the development, maintenance, and review of a comprehensive Strategy Management framework to ensure that it remains fit for purpose.
Provide feedback on any gaps or issues identified.
Collect, analyze, and report on performance data in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
Produce Strategy related reports to the relevant stakeholders, as and when required.
As directed by the Strategy Planning Senior Specialist, research emerging legislation and best practices and translate these into operational procedures, guidance, and policy statements as appropriate.
Assist in educating the relevant stakeholders on the use of the Strategy framework.
Assist in the planning and execution of a wide range of individual service reviews and projects by key corporate and improvement objectives, to continuously improve service efficiency, outcomes, delivery, and performance.Application Process:
