Senior Civil Inspector - Roads and Infrastructure - AECOM - Dubai, UAE

• Review and understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, and health and safety requirements including revisions
• Ensure contractor adherence to project standards, approved drawings, and contractual obligations
• Maintain accurate daily records of manpower, equipment, and site activities
• Conduct site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
• Coordinate daily with contractors to monitor progress, safety compliance, and resource deployment
• Prepare detailed daily inspection and progress reports including material deliveries and work schedules
• Implement and follow up on site instructions issued by project management
• Apply and enforce quality control procedures in line with approved Quality Management Systems
• Perform survey checks for alignments, levels, and infrastructure components
• Monitor contractor QA and QC activities including material testing and workmanship inspections
• Assist in preparing project correspondence, reports, and documentation
• Identify site issues and support timely corrective action implementation
• Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover activities ensuring complete documentation
• Conduct audit inspections to verify compliance with approved shop drawings and method statements
• Ensure compliance with RTA, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and other authority requirements
• Promote and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards on site

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in roads and structural infrastructure projects
• At least 3 years of experience in the UAE preferred
• Proven experience in RTA or large transportation projects
• Strong knowledge of QA and QC systems and regulatory compliance
• RTA approval is an advantage
