Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising tunnel construction works, including TBM operations and associated underground structures
Monitor TBM advance activities and review operational parameters to minimize construction and safety risks
Ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, method statements, and safety standards
Identify and manage risks related to face pressure, grout injection pressure, annular gap grouting, ring installation, greasing, and maintenance activities
Supervise inspectors assigned to TBM operations across shifts and machines
Coordinate closely with geotechnical, instrumentation, and monitoring teams at critical zones
Review shop drawings, method statements, and technical correspondence related to tunnel works
Provide on-site technical guidance to contractors to ensure quality and safety objectives are met
Maintain accurate daily reports, inspection records, and construction documentation
Monitor progress, resource allocation, and sequencing of tunnel works against the approved program
Support preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports
Verify completed works, ensure accuracy of as-built drawings, and support final handover to authoritiesCandidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Minimum 10 years of experience in tunnel construction supervision with strong exposure to TBM operations
Proven experience completing at least one full TBM-driven tunnel project from start to finish
Strong understanding of TBM systems, monitoring parameters, sensors, alarms, and software applications
Ability to identify and mitigate operational and geotechnical risks during tunnel advancement
Knowledge of tunnel construction materials, quality control processes, and testing procedures
Familiarity with safety regulations, construction methods, and standard tunneling practices
Strong technical reporting, documentation, and communication skills in English
Proficiency in engineering software and digital reporting tools
Experience on metro rail or large-scale underground infrastructure projects is highly preferred
