Job Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities
- Inspect site conditions prior to construction to verify compatibility with approved permanent works
- Identify and document existing conditions, obstructions, and assets that may be affected by construction activities
- Review materials delivered to site for compliance with approved samples, specifications, and equipment submittals
- Ensure materials are stored correctly and report any discrepancies to the Resident Engineer
- Inspect temporary and permanent works to confirm compliance with contract documents and approved shop drawings
- Prepare daily logs and reports and maintain records of inspections, tests, and executed works
- Observe site safety practices and monitor work progress, reporting concerns to the Resident Engineer
- Assist with inspection of completed works and preparation of punch lists
- Monitor start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
- Review RFIs from contractors and provide recommendations for resolution
- Review contractor requests for variance and provide entitlement comments and recommendations
- Read and interpret working drawings and specifications and enforce compliance through reporting
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant technical or engineering field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory materials testing and field inspection
- Experience on roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects
- Middle East experience preferred with familiarity in Dubai projects
- RTA or DCL approval is preferred
- Strong ability to read drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements
- Good reporting, coordination, and communication skills
