We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, payroll processing, and reporting functions within a fast-paced engineering and construction environment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial operations.Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Accounting:
 Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements
 Handle daily accounting activities including accounts payable, receivable, and journal entries
 Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
 Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accounting systemsPayroll & WPS Handling:
 Process employee payroll through WPS (Wage Protection System)
 Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and salary disbursement regulations
 Maintain payroll records including overtime, deductions, and allowancesBilling & Cost Control:
 Prepare and track invoices, payment collections, and outstanding receivables
 Coordinate with QS and project teams for billing-related documentation
 Monitor project expenses and support cost control activitiesPetty Cash & Expense Management:
 Manage petty cash transactions and maintain proper records
 Verify and process expense claims and reimbursements
 Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all expensesReporting & Compliance:
 Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS reports, and management summaries
 Assist in audit preparation and ensure compliance with company policies
 Maintain VAT records and assist in VAT filing processes
 Ensure documentation is aligned with regulatory and internal audit standards
Coordination & System Handling:
 Coordinate with HR for payroll inputs and employee records
 Work closely with procurement and finance teams for payment processing
 Maintain proper filing system for all financial documents
 Use accounting software such as QuickBooks / Tally / ERP systemsRequirements:
 Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance / CommerceInterview Process:
