- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability.
- Develop and enforce data quality metrics and policies for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate data-related compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Conduct data assessments and audits to verify adherence to governance policies.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to promote data governance awareness.
- Provide strategic recommendations for data management improvements across the organization.
- Utilize data governance tools to manage metadata and data lineage effectively.
- Analyze datasets to identify patterns, issues, and opportunities for enhancing data quality.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to align data governance objectives with organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in data governance or data management roles.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
- Experience with data quality management and data stewardship activities.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Proficient in using data governance tools and technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
