Job Description:About the Role:We are looking for a motivated and hands-on MEP / Facilities Maintenance Assistant to support ourmaintenance team in managing the day-to-day upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsacross our industrial manufacturing facility in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilledindividual who is eager to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced industrial environment.Qualification:ï§ Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technicaldiscipline.ï§ Minimum 2-4 years of practical experience in MEP or facilities maintenance, preferably within anindustrial or manufacturing setting.Skills:ï§ Hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems, LV electrical works, basic plumbing, Civil, Wooden work andfire protection equipment.ï§ Ability to read and understand basic MEP drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals.ï§ Familiarity with UAE health, safety, and regulatory standards including Civil Defence and DEWArequirements.ï§ Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.ï§ Physically fit and able to work in various conditions including heights, confined spaces, and outdoorenvironments.ï§ Proficiency computer literacy for logging work orders and maintenance records.ï§ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)ï§ Fluency in English; Hindi is a strong advantage.ï§ UAE Driving License is a must.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:ï§ Assist in executing Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for all MEP systems including HVAC,electrical, plumbing, and fire protection equipment.ï§ Support seasonal maintenance readiness activities, such as servicing and cleaning AC units prior to thesummer season.ï§ Carry out routine inspection rounds of facilities and utilities to identify defects, leaks, abnormalreadings, or potential failures and report findings promptly.ï§ Perform minor repairs and replacements such as lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, valves, filters,belts, and basic plumbing fixtures.ï§ Escalate complex technical issues to the MEP In Charge or senior technicians with clear and accuratefault descriptions.ï§ Follow all safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and PPE requirements during maintenanceactivities.ï§ Ensure maintenance tasks are carried out in compliance with UAE Civil Defence, DEWA, and facility-specific HSE regulations.ï§ Participate in safety toolbox talks, drills, and training sessions as required.ï§ Maintain accurate records of completed work orders, inspection checklists, and equipment service logsor manual registers.ï§ Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials in thestoreroom.ï§ Support the MEP In Charge and contractors during fit-out, renovation, or expansion works by providingon-site assistance.
