This role ensures the continuous operation of hotel facilities by maintaining equipment, handling repairs, and supporting engineering functions. It directly contributes to guest satisfaction by minimizing service disruptions and ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities
- Attend and resolve guest maintenance requests across rooms and public areas
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Inspect and troubleshoot faults in plumbing, electrical, and general building equipment
- Carry out minor repairs including painting, carpentry, and fixture replacements
- Maintain tools and spare parts inventory for daily operations
- Operate and manage utility shut-off systems when required
- Follow safety procedures including lockout and tagout practices
- Support maintenance of landscaping systems and irrigation units
- Record daily maintenance tasks and communicate across teams
- Ensure all work areas are cleaned and restored after tasks
- Basic qualification or technical background in maintenance or engineering
- Experience in general maintenance or hotel engineering preferred
- Understanding of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and tools
- Strong attention to safety and service standards
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
