The role supports daily engineering operations by maintaining building systems and equipment across guest rooms and service areas. It plays a key role in maintaining service quality, reducing downtime, and ensuring all facilities meet operational and safety standards expected in a high-end hospitality environment.Key Responsibilities
- Handle guest repair requests and resolve issues efficiently across hotel areas
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and kitchen systems
- Inspect and repair equipment including HVAC, plumbing fixtures, and electrical components
- Conduct minor repairs such as painting, woodwork fixes, and fixture replacements
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory
- Monitor system performance and identify faults before escalation
- Follow lockout and tagout safety procedures during maintenance work
- Assist in maintaining landscaping systems including irrigation units
- Record daily maintenance work and communicate updates across shifts
- Ensure proper cleanup and restoration after completing maintenance tasks
- Basic technical qualification or equivalent experience in maintenance
- Experience in hotel or building maintenance preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Physically capable of performing maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Equipment troubleshooting and repair
