Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Lead post-contract commercial management across major aviation/infrastructure works packages
• Administer contracts (e.g., NEC, FIDIC or similar), ensuring compliance and effective risk management
• Manage valuations, variations, change control, and final accounts
• Provide accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and financial control
• Assess and negotiate contractor claims and variations
• Support procurement activities and contribute to commercial strategy
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
• Mentor and support junior team members where required
• Ensure all commercial activities align with company standards and client expectations

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying, ideally within infrastructure or aviation projects
• MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) status held for at least 5 years
• Proven experience working within a cost consultancy environment
• Strong post-contract experience is essential
• In-depth knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects and multiple stakeholders
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• High level of commercial awareness and attention to detail

• Experience on large-scale aviation or major infrastructure programmes
• Previous client-facing consultancy experience
• Leadership or team management experience
