Job Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities
- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of chilled water networks, HVAC systems, pumps, fire-fighting systems, and water supply and drainage networks
- Verify load calculations, pressure tests, and equipment sizing against approved project specifications
- Supervise fire protection systems including fire pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, and fire alarm integration in compliance with Dubai Civil Defense regulations
- Coordinate approvals and inspections with relevant authorities to maintain project schedules
- Ensure integration of mechanical systems with electrical and ELV systems and resolve interface conflicts
- Lead MEP coordination meetings across civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines
- Monitor potable water, irrigation, stormwater, and sewer networks and coordinate inspections with DEWA and DM
- Implement testing procedures including hydrostatic pressure tests, airflow testing, TAB, insulation resistance testing, and functional performance testing
- Review contractor method statements, ITPs, risk assessments, as-built drawings, and O and M manuals
- Support the Resident Engineer in managing contractor performance and sustainability compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 12 to 16 years of experience in infrastructure or transportation MEP projects
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of mandatory UAE experience in RTA or Dubai Municipality projects
- RTA or DM approval preferred
- Strong knowledge of DEWA, DM, and Dubai Civil Defense regulations
- Experience managing complex MEP coordination and commissioning activities
