It contributes to operational accuracy, audit readiness, and continuous improvement within financial operations and payments processes.Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation and exception management activities with strong attention to accuracy
- Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring timely clearance of outstanding items
- Escalate ageing discrepancies and maintain proper documentation for audit tracking
- Process financial vouchers related to issuing and acquiring transactions in line with internal policies
- Post monthly amortization entries for prepaid expenses and support financial closing activities
- Prepare monthly inputs and support account balance substantiation for reporting purposes
- Coordinate with internal teams such as operations, finance, and technology to resolve reconciliation issues
- Maintain audit trails, proper records, and compliance with internal financial control frameworks
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancement feedback
- Assist in testing activities related to system updates impacting reconciliation processes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial operations or reconciliation roles
- Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and financial controls
- Exposure to payments ecosystem and settlement processes is advantageous
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure in a structured environment
