  • Lead detailed balance sheet reviews and perform substantiation of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Improve and standardize monthly GL reconciliation schedules while maintaining strong financial control procedures.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across business units to resolve reconciliation issues and strengthen accounting practices.
  • Identify financial trends, anomalies, and potential risks while providing actionable insights to improve reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure monthly and yearly financial closing activities are completed accurately and within required timelines.
  • Review accruals, provisions, amortization entries, and reclassification adjustments to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare financial reporting data for consolidation systems including Business Planning and Consolidation tools.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions and resolve discrepancies between related entities.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audit reviews and ensure timely submission of documentation.
  • Ensure accounting practices comply with IFRS and internal financial governance policies.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, CMA or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in financial accounting or general ledger management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on experience using ERP systems and financial consolidation tools.
  • Advanced financial data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills within a multinational business environment.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player capable of working in a multicultural workplace.
