- Lead detailed balance sheet reviews and perform substantiation of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Improve and standardize monthly GL reconciliation schedules while maintaining strong financial control procedures.
- Collaborate with finance teams across business units to resolve reconciliation issues and strengthen accounting practices.
- Identify financial trends, anomalies, and potential risks while providing actionable insights to improve reporting accuracy.
- Ensure monthly and yearly financial closing activities are completed accurately and within required timelines.
- Review accruals, provisions, amortization entries, and reclassification adjustments to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare financial reporting data for consolidation systems including Business Planning and Consolidation tools.
- Monitor intercompany transactions and resolve discrepancies between related entities.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audit reviews and ensure timely submission of documentation.
- Ensure accounting practices comply with IFRS and internal financial governance policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, CMA or an equivalent professional qualification.
- 8 to 12 years of experience in financial accounting or general ledger management roles.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
- Hands-on experience using ERP systems and financial consolidation tools.
- Advanced financial data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills within a multinational business environment.
- Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
