This role operates within financial operations supporting payment and card-related reconciliations. It ensures accurate reporting, timely exception handling, and adherence to financial governance frameworks while contributing to process improvements and operational consistency.Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily GL reconciliation activities ensuring compliance with internal control standards
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies across issuing and acquiring accounts
- Track outstanding items and escalate unresolved cases within defined timelines
- Prepare reconciliation reports and maintain accurate supporting documentation
- Process financial vouchers and support monthly amortization activities
- Assist in preparing AOV inputs and validating account balances
- Maintain audit-ready records and ensure adherence to financial governance policies
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve reconciliation issues and close exceptions
- Support audit requests by providing clear and accurate financial data
- Contribute to system testing and improvements impacting reconciliation processes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial operations or reconciliation roles
- Strong understanding of GL accounts and reconciliation processes
- Exposure to payments or card operations preferred
- Ability to manage detailed financial data with accuracy
- GL reconciliation and financial controls
- Payments operations and settlement knowledge
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- MS Excel and reporting tools
