- Design and execute detailed test cases covering POS transactions, online payments, settlements, refunds and chargebacks
- Validate end-to-end transaction flows across acquiring host systems, payment networks and merchant platforms
- Perform functional, integration, regression and UAT support testing activities
- Verify compliance with PCI-DSS requirements and card scheme operating regulations
- Identify, document and track defects through resolution in coordination with development and business teams
- Support certification testing processes with card schemes and external vendors
- Analyze transaction logs, ISO8583 messages and reconciliation reports to detect discrepancies
- Ensure transaction accuracy, settlement integrity and system reliability
- Maintain structured test documentation and reporting artifacts
- Strong knowledge of merchant acquiring lifecycle and payment processing environments
- Understanding of ISO8583 or similar financial message formats
- Experience using testing tools, SQL queries and log analysis techniques
- Familiarity with payment compliance standards including PCI-DSS
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to manage tight delivery timelines within banking or payments projects
