High Voltage Electrical Project Engineer Substation and Power Infrastructure Projects - Azizi Developments - Dubai, UAE

• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of high voltage electrical systems including substations, transformers, switchgear, and HV cabling installations.
• Review technical drawings, electrical specifications, and scope of work to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HV electrical equipment to ensure proper system integration.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, technical submittals, RFIs, and progress reports related to HV electrical works.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of high voltage equipment according to approved material schedules.
• Manage subcontractors and monitor construction quality, safety compliance, and adherence to approved procedures.
• Liaise with local utility authorities for inspections, approvals, and energization of high voltage systems.
• Support preparation of as built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and project close out documentation.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during all stages of electrical works.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Six to ten years of experience working on high voltage electrical projects.
• Strong experience in HV systems including GIS, medium voltage and low voltage switchgear, transformers, and ring main units.
• Experience coordinating with utility authorities such as DEWA, ADDC, or SEWA within the UAE or GCC region.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction standards, testing procedures, and commissioning processes.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
