- To perform the repairing activities of Ironworks Section throughout the plant with high proficiency, quality and maximum safety.
- To execute all scheduled corrective maintenance and major repairs of the equipments in order to optimise production & minimize down time for Iron works maintenance related works.
- Responsible for attending Iron Works related problems during breakdowns of mechanical equipments and ensure smooth maintenance.
- Responsible for attending mechanical maintenance problems during breakdowns in the (Workshop – Ironworks) communicate to superiors of any abnormalities found in the equipment in order to plan & rectify the same.
- Check & confirm availability of tools & tackles.
- Inspection of equipments to meet engineering principles and safety regulations in maintenance related works in Ironworks.
- To assist and help the Sr. Technician Workshop – Ironworks in all technical areas to ensure smooth maintenance of equipments during shutdown.
- To act as Sr. Technician in absence of Sr. Technician or as & when required by Section
