We are delighted to be working with a distinguished UHNW Saudi Arabian family based in Dubai Marina, to assist in identifying an exceptional European Travelling Chef. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a large, well-established household team, delivering world-class culinary experiences within an ultra-high-net-worth private residence.The successful candidate will work as an integral part of a dedicated team of hospitality professionals, cooking for the Principal family on a daily basis. The family comprises seven members, all aged 15 and above, though two are frequently travelling, meaning the Chef will typically be catering for five on a daily basis. The role also requires catering for guests and special occasions, and demands a high degree of flexibility and adaptability, with an excellent understanding of Middle Eastern cuisine alongside a broad culinary repertoire.Travel will be a key component of this position, with the family travelling regularly to London, Europe and Saudi Arabia. Candidates must be comfortable travelling internationally at short notice and maintaining the same impeccable standards across all locations. You therefore need to hold an EU passport or a passport that allows for easy travel through the UK and EU.Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present high-quality meals for the Principal family, household staff, and guests to an exceptional standard
  • Design and execute diverse menus reflecting the family's tastes, dietary requirements, and cultural preferences
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Middle Eastern and international cuisine, adapting menus accordingly
  • Travel with the family to London and Europe, maintaining culinary standards across all locations
  • Manage kitchen operations including procurement, stock management, and supplier relationships
  • Oversee kitchen hygiene and food safety in line with the highest international standards
  • Plan, prepare and cater for private dining events, family gatherings, and formal entertaining
  • Liaise with the household team and House Manager to coordinate meal times and service
  • Accommodate last-minute changes to schedules, menus, or dietary requirements with professionalism
  • Manage kitchen budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising on quality
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times
Ideal Candidate
  • European nationality with a valid passport suitable for travel to the UAE and internationally
  • Proven experience as a Private Chef within a UHNW private household or luxury hospitality environment
  • Professionally culinary trained
  • Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine alongside a broad and versatile culinary repertoire
  • Comfortable and experienced with international travel, maintaining consistency across multiple locations
  • Highly organised with excellent menu planning, budgeting, and procurement skills
  • Professional, discreet, and able to work within a larger household team
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to respond to last-minute changes calmly and efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable manner
  • Willingness to be based in Dubai or to relocate
Package
  • Working schedule: 6 days per week with flexibility required
  • Salary: 25,000 AED net per month (without accommodation) / 20,000 AED net per month (if accommodation is required)
  • Annual holiday allowance provided
  • Visa and health insurance provided
  • All travel expenses covered
