Department: Direct Reduction Plant (DRP)Job Purpose:
To perform mechanical maintenance activities in the Direct Reduction Plant (DRP 2) to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations during assigned shifts.Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and hydraulic systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safe work practices at all times.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and shift reports.
- Support shutdown activities and major maintenance works as required.
- Coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- 3–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within DRP, steel, or heavy industrial plants.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work in shift schedules
