FABRICATOR

• Prepares and sets up pipes prior to welding with acceptable welding preparations in conformity with the Company's standards and practices.

• Carries out the fabrication of piping systems - both on site and Central Workshops. Fabricates pipework from detailed drawings and measures up complex pipework on site or in Central Workshops. Fabricates replacements from his own measurements.

• Performs assigned tasks using various types of pipefitting tools and equipment, such as cropping machines, power saws, acetylene burning gear both hand-held and semi-automatic machines, grinding machines both pedestal and angle grinders, H &M pipe beveling machines, setting up clamps, Wachs cutters for cold cutting, etc.

• Pressure tests piping systems on completion of welding.

• Carries out other maintenance tasks including the re-tubing of heat exchangers, operation of hot topping machine. This involves in Fabrication of Structural Jobs.

• Provide and supervise the on-the-job Training for the UAE national Developees/trainees based on their training program.

• Safeguard own Health and Safety, as well as that of the fellow employees, by paying attention to safe work practices, maintaining a safe work environment and complying with applicable HSE requirements.

• Take action to INTERVENE and STOP any un-safe activity or non-compliance with HSE requirements,

• if witnessed, and report the incident – regardless of your position or that of the transgressor

• Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, Quality standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.

• Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures and functional processes.

• Provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant

• 4 years of experience, in pipe fabrication and installation in the Oil &Gas industry or petrochemical industry and fabrication and welding activities in the Oil &Gas or petrochemical industry.

• Professional in English Language ( reading, writing and Speaking )

• Valid Certificates mandatory
