Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for roads and highways projects using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and BIM platforms
Prepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction-ready drawings aligned with approved design intent
Coordinate closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and consistency of deliverables
Ensure full compliance with Roads and Transport Authority RTA, DEWA, and other relevant authority standards and guidelines
Participate in internal design reviews and resolve drafting and modeling issues efficiently
Maintain drawing registers, document control, and version management in line with company CAD and BIM standards
Support clash detection and multidisciplinary model coordination activities
Assist in developing and improving BIM and CAD workflows, templates, and quality proceduresCandidate Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience as a BIM CAD Technician or Drafter on highway engineering projects
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
Solid understanding of drafting principles, detailing practices, and technical drawing standards
Experience working with large-scale utility networks including stormwater, sewer, irrigation, and electrical systems
Ability to interpret engineering sketches, markups, and design information accurately
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverablesPreferred Experience
Working knowledge of BIM tools and digital delivery platforms
Experience in clash detection using Navisworks or similar software
Understanding of multidisciplinary coordination for utilities, bridges, and infrastructure projects
