This role involves ensuring that all rope access tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and client specifications. The supervisor will lead a team of rope access technicians and ensure that all work at height is performed safely and effectively.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the rope access team.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure that work is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure all mechanical works complies with project specifications and industry standards
  • Plan and supervise rope access activities, ensuring safe and efficient execution of tasks in elevated or confined spaces
  • Perform rescue operations if required, as per IRATA Level 3 certification
  • Oversee the preparation of surfaces for blasting and painting, including cleaning, masking, and priming.
  • Conduct regular inspections of blasting and painting work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Plan and execute rope access operations, including rigging, climbing, and positioning for various maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks.
  • Ensure that all rope access activities are carried out according to industry standards, client specifications, and project requirements.
  • Ensure that all rope access activities comply with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Conduct safety training and drills for the rope access team to promote a safe working environment.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop safe work procedures for rope access tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rope access equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of rope access activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment logs
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on rope access activities, blasting painting activities, equipment status, and any issues or concerns
Desired Candidate ProfileKnowledge & Skills
  • Higher secondary
  • IRATA Level 3 Certification
  • Strong communication in English.
  • 6 Year Experience in Oil and Gas Industry Experience with 2-year supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment used in blasting and painting operations.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Ensuring accuracy in maintenance and repair work.
  • In-depth understanding of rope access techniques, equipment, and industry standards and mechanical, Blasting painting techniques.
