  • Provide specialized care for critically ill and premature newborns from admission through discharge
  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests to develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Monitor neonatal patients continuously and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated care
  • Educate parents on neonatal care, feeding practices, and infant development
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with healthcare standards
  • Apply latest advancements in neonatal medicine and evidence-based practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow strict safety protocols
  • Train and supervise junior medical staff and support team development
Ideal Profile
  • Medical degree with specialization in Neonatology or Pediatric Intensive Care
  • Board certification in Neonatal Intensive Care or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant NICU in a reputable hospital
  • Western-trained education or clinical background preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, multicultural healthcare environments
  • Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
