- Assist in preparing bills of quantities and cost estimates for construction projects
- Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Support the preparation of tender documents and contract administration
- Assist in the evaluation of contractor claims and variations
- Participate in site visits to verify work progress and quantities
- Help maintain accurate project cost records and reports
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
- Contribute to the development of cost-saving strategies and value engineering initiatives
- Assist in the preparation of monthly progress reports and financial forecasts
- Stay updated on local building codes and regulations in Dubai
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in quantity surveying or related field
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft)
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Basic knowledge of construction processes and methodologies
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Dubai
- Willingness to work on various construction sites in Dubai and surrounding areas
- Professional certification (e.g., APC) is a plus
