Senior Land Surveyor - Infrastructure and Microtunneling - AECOM - Dubai, UAE

• Conduct topographic, control, and setting out surveys for infrastructure projects including stormwater drainage and microtunneling works.
• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference grids in accordance with approved drawings.
• Perform accurate horizontal and vertical alignment measurements for pipelines, tunnel drives, shafts, and utilities.
• Monitor microtunneling alignments and breakthrough coordinates to ensure tolerance compliance.
• Conduct as built surveys and verify contractor submissions for accuracy.
• Maintain detailed survey records, digital data files, and field documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and supervision teams to resolve survey discrepancies.
• Verify and certify measurements for interim payments and progress validation.
• Participate in coordination meetings to provide updates on survey status and site requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality assurance procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain surveying instruments according to project standards.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover by validating levels and coordinates.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure surveying and setting out works.
• Mandatory RTA approval and certification for Microtunneling Works.
• Strong knowledge of coordinate systems, datum control, and vertical alignment verification.
• Experience in deep pipeline, shaft construction, and tunnel alignment monitoring.
• Familiarity with RTA, DM, and DEWA standards for infrastructure projects in Dubai.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS, Total Station, and survey software tools.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving abilities.
• Physically fit for fieldwork and site based operations.
