Senior Land Surveyor Microtunneling Stormwater Infrastructure Dubai UAE is responsible for conducting topographic and control surveys, verifying alignments, managing survey data, and ensuring accuracy in construction works related to pipelines, shafts, and tunneling operations.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform topographic surveys and setting-out activities for pipelines, shafts, and underground structures
  • Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference grids
  • Apply approved drawings, alignment data, and coordinate systems accurately
  • Verify horizontal and vertical alignments, including pipe inverts and tunnel drives
  • Monitor microtunneling operations and ensure alignment tolerances are maintained
  • Conduct as-built surveys and validate contractor submissions
  • Maintain accurate survey records, logs, and digital documentation
  • Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve survey discrepancies
  • Verify survey data for measurement sheets and progress reporting
  • Participate in project meetings to provide survey updates and insights
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards during field operations
  • Calibrate and maintain surveying equipment such as GPS and total stations
  • Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes through verification of final coordinates
Candidate Requirements
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure and microtunneling projects
  • RTA certification for microtunneling works is required
  • Strong experience in pipeline, shaft, and tunnel alignment surveying
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS, Total Station, and survey software
  • Knowledge of UAE authority standards including RTA, DM, and DEWA
  • Strong understanding of coordinate systems and datum control
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in survey data
