- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies
- Analyze project drawings and specifications
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Manage tendering and procurement processes
- Evaluate contractor quotations and negotiate prices
- Monitor project costs and control budgets during construction
- Prepare interim valuations and payment certificates
- Handle contract administration and claims
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify work
- Prepare final accounts and project cost reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management
- Professional certification (optional but preferred) such as RICS or AIQS
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, etc.)
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, CostX)
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Time management and project coordination skills
