Technical Engineer Mechanical - Azizi Developments - Dubai, UAE

• Manage engineering processes related to mechanical systems including drainage, water supply, firefighting, HVAC, and LPG systems
• Review IFC designs to ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and project specifications
• Supervise a team of 10 to 15 draftsmen responsible for shop drawings and as-built drawing production
• Prepare engineering calculations including external static pressure, pump head calculations, ventilation requirements, pressurization systems, and heat load analysis
• Produce and review MEP coordination drawings and modular MEP drawings for project execution
• Coordinate closely with electrical, civil, architectural, and structural engineering teams to resolve design conflicts
• Prepare and review material submittals, engineering drawings, and technical calculations for project approvals
• Support authority documentation submissions with strong knowledge of DM, DCD, Empower, Trakhees, and Dubai South regulations
• Review major material procurement requests from project teams to ensure technical compliance
• Develop shop drawings and technical documentation according to IFC drawings and project specifications
• Provide technical support to project teams throughout design, construction, and project handover stages
• Maintain detailed logs for materials, shop drawings, requests for information, and technical documentation
• Prepare bill of quantities and raise RFIs during project coordination stages
• Prepare requests for proposals and coordinate with procurement teams for material sourcing

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the UAE working with contracting companies on building construction projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and mechanical building systems
• In-depth understanding of UAE authority regulations including DM, DCD, Empower, Trakhees, and Dubai South
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary MEP engineering drawings and documentation
• Strong ability to review technical designs and ensure regulatory compliance
• Proven experience supervising drafting teams and coordinating engineering documentation
