  • Lead civil and transport infrastructure drainage design for major infrastructure projects
  • Perform detailed analysis and review of hydrological and hydraulic models
  • Provide technical expertise for stormwater and drainage systems including piped networks and major transverse drainage structures
  • Deliver hydraulic and system designs tailored to complex site-specific requirements
  • Apply hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management principles to achieve effective and compliant solutions
  • Introduce innovative design approaches, digital tools, and value engineering solutions
  • Supervise, mentor, and support intermediate and junior drainage engineers
  • Undertake hydrologic modeling, design calculations, drawings, reports, and design reviews
  • Lead projects, manage technical delivery, liaise with clients, and obtain design approvals
  • Coordinate closely with CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling teams to ensure integrated design delivery
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 14 years of experience in water engineering with strong focus on stormwater drainage design for civil and transport projects
  • Proven leadership experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
Skills Set
  • Strong knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics principles
  • Expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software including SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS
  • Mandatory experience with Infoworks ICM 1D and 2D modeling
  • Proficiency in GIS and CAD tools such as ArcMap, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation
  • Advanced mathematical capability for engineering calculations and design verification
  • Knowledge of Water Sensitive Design and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
  • Chartered Engineer status or well advanced toward professional chartership
  • Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills
