- Develop and maintain BIM models for high voltage substations, switchyards, and electrical transmission infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using BIM tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, civil teams, and multidisciplinary project stakeholders during design development.
- Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, level of development requirements, and QAQC procedures.
- Participate in clash detection processes and resolve coordination conflicts during model development.
- Extract quantities and prepare construction documentation from BIM models for project execution.
- Maintain model accuracy and ensure engineering data is consistent with project design standards.
- Support project teams in improving BIM workflows and digital coordination across engineering disciplines.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Seven to eight years of BIM modeling experience in high voltage electrical infrastructure or substation projects.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with knowledge of Navisworks coordination tools.
- Good understanding of high voltage equipment layouts, cable routing systems, and substation design principles.
